Digestive Disorder

Gastritis

Gastritis is a general term for a group of conditions with one thing in common: Inflammation of the lining of the stomach. The inflammation of gastritis is most often the result of infection with the same bacterium that causes most stomach ulcers or the regular use of certain pain relievers.

Reflux Esophagitis

Reflux esophagitis is a condition characterized by inflammation of the esophagus due to stomach acid refluxing into it. This occurs when the lower esophageal sphincter fails to keep stomach contents from flowing back into the esophagus, leading to irritation and erosion of the mucous lining. Common causes include frequent acid reflux, hiatal hernia, and certain medications. Symptoms may include chest pain, difficulty swallowing, and a sensation of food being stuck in the throat.

Concept Creation

A stomach ulcer (or gastric ulcer) is an open sore in your stomach lining. It’s a common cause of focal stomach pain — pain that you can feel coming from a particular spot — often with a burning or gnawing quality. But not all stomach ulcers cause noticeable symptoms.

Write a description for this tab and include information that will interest site visitors. For example, if you are using tabs to show different services, write about what makes each service unique. If you are using tabs to display restaurant items, write about what makes a specific dish particularly worthwhile or delicious.

Success Garanteed

Constipation is defined as having fewer than three bowel movements per week or experiencing difficulty in passing stool. Common causes include a lack of dietary fiber, insufficient fluid intake, lack of exercise, certain medications, and medical conditions. Symptoms may include hard, dry stools, abdominal pain, and bloating. To alleviate constipation, increasing fiber intake, staying hydrated, and regular physical activity are often recommended.

Description Title

Crohn's disease is a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that causes inflammation in the digestive tract. Common symptoms include abdominal pain, diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss, and malnutrition. There are several types of Crohn's disease, including ileocolitis, colitis, ileitis, and gastroduodenal.

While there is no cure, treatments are available to help manage symptoms and control inflammation.

Esophageal Asthma

Esophageal asthma is a condition where asthma and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) occur together. During an asthma flare-up, pressure changes occur inside the chest and abdomen, which can cause stomach acid or contents to travel back into the esophagus. Some asthma medications, such as theophylline, may also worsen acid reflux. Some experts believe that asthma may trigger GERD, when breathing difficulties or certain asthma medications cause the esophageal sphincter muscle to relax and allow stomach contents to reflux.
